Timeline

Where it began

Ian Toman, Alvin Chang, and John Famiglietti meet at college in Boston and begin to work on a few early stage projects together, ironing out our strategy and operating model. Some early successes with technology ventures provide the proof necessary for Ian to pursue the idea full time after graduation.

Early success

Zhuang offers Ian a deal to manage the beginnings of the Flycatcher venture while in Singapore. Work begins on the project and significant improvements to the technology are made. In the end of the year Ian strikes a deal with Leo to buy Strustore and open a processing and fulfillment center in Las Vegas. Ian and Adrian meet at a business meetup in Brno.

Glimpse of the future

Ian, Alvin, and Zhuang meet in Shanghai and discuss the future of the firm and PXT is formalized. Alvin officially joins as deals lead and Ian enters an extremely aggressive financial structure for Flycatcher, presenting large upside opportunity. Adrian is brought on as lead developer for Strustore and is later promoted to technology lead. John is brought on as director of Strustore.

Establishing in Singapore

John is transitioned to operations lead. PXT officially establishes in Singapore.

With a background in finance and professional experience in private equity, Alvin drives growth in the firm through his vast network.

Technology Lead

Software developer since the age of fourteen, Adrian engineered a revenue generating construction management software and was able to pursue business over college education.

Operations Lead

A pharmaceutical scientist with a perfect academic record, John applies the operational knowledge and management experience from his PhD to PXT.
